
Alexandra Kajari represents primary and excess insurers in sophisticated insurance coverage litigation involving directors and officers, professional liability, and errors and omissions insurance policies. Alexandra serves as litigation counsel in cases in state and federal courts. She also serves as monitoring counsel for primary and excess insurers under a wide variety of insurance policies.
Representative Matters
- On behalf of an excess insurer, prevailed on summary judgment in a dispute arising out of whether the alleged loss triggered the excess insurer’s policy limits.
- Obtained summary judgment in favor of an insurer under a general partners liability policy in a dispute arising out of whether defense costs incurred in a non-covered claim were “reasonably related” to covered allegations in a separate claim.
- Secured a dismissal of an action against insurers in a bond dispute and successfully defended an appeal in a dispute arising out of lack of personal jurisdiction.
